Welcome to my Blog. I was introduced to blogging by Most Rev. Daniel Bohan, Archbishop of Regina, Canada when I visited him. He took out time to show me how he is able to reach many people using his blog. I was impressed. I do hope to be able to communicate with you through this medium. I wish God's blessing on all who will view my blog!

As you can guess, I am God's minister - Most Rev. Hilary Paul Odili Okeke, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. I wish to use this blog to spread God's goodness and truth! Share God's goodness with me! + Hilary Paul Odili Okeke.

  1. Most Rev. and dear Bishop Hilary. I am happy hearing your good news. How gracious other bishops and priests has been to you. I am pleased too to see you blog and the raison d' etre for you blogging is wonderful. Sharing the message of Jesus Christ over the internet to anyone, anywhere in the blogosphere. You are a very generous person and you deserve every kindness they have accorded you. I ask the good Lord to reward them abubdantly.
Reflecting yesterday in my first mass at Sacred Heart Church Huntington, on the solemnity of the Sacred Heart and The Year of the Priest. I felt there are a number of things we ought to learn from our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, the High Priest. Love undoubtedly is the substantial reason for all he did, especially at the Institution of the Priesthood. I am happy too that in your blog, you mentioned ministerial priesthood. It is my little experience that a number of us priests nowadays tend to focus on the 'dignity of the priesthood' and neglecting that it is a forum to serve the people of God. Christ graciously offered himself for us out of love. Our prayers today and always ought to be that the love of Christ Jesus may flow from His side and dwell in the hearts of all who believe

  2. My bishop, I must say that I am particularly impressed to hear about your blog. It is a wonderful initiative. I think your tireless efforts and profound devotion to your office as bishop and spiritual father is something that makes us, many of your priests, proud. You have an extraordinary way of touching hearts and souls with your message. And as the pioneer bishop of Nnewi, we pray for you especially in this Year of the Priest that your industrious and innovative endeavours will bear abundant fruits. May the Lord keep you healthy and hearty.
